Setting up working hours in Eggmed is essential for providers, as it helps streamline scheduling and ensures clients can only book appointments during designated times. By managing your availability, you maintain control over your calendar, reduce scheduling conflicts, and achieve a more predictable work routine. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to set your working hours and add special availability overrides when needed.
Accessing working hours settings
To manage your working hours, navigate to:
Settings
> Practice Settings
> Working Hours
.In this section, you define your weekly working hours:
The Add date override section lets you set specific availability on certain dates, perfect for holiday schedules or unique circumstances. Follow these steps:
1. Add a date override
Click on the Add Date Override
button to open the date override modal.
2. Set custom hours
In the modal, select the specific date for which you want to adjust availability. Then, define start and end times for that day.
3. Save the override
Once you’ve added the custom date and hours, save the override to update your calendar with these changes.
